Iris
Here are my two favorite shots this week.....
The first picture is actually my favorite. I like it because it is from an angle that we don't usually view a flower. I also struggled this week with keeping the flower in focus and think this image is in focus (it was very windy this week) and is very crisp. what I like about the second photo is the lighting. I also like how the darker blurred background makes the flower stand out. (I didn't edit any of my photos this week, can anymore tell me if we are supposed to be?)
I really like the perspective on the first image, really unique. What stands out most to me is the effect of the light on your images and how it changes the feel of each image. Your pictures are very Chris and really catch the color of the flower beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI really like the closeups on your photos, especially the first one. I've stated a few times already but my favorite photos are close up photos with a blurred background.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the perspective of the first photograph is very unique and intriguing, but I love the way the colors are represented in the second shot. The purple and yellow really pop against the blurred green and black, and I love that effect. They're all great shots!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way your first photo pops out! The way the background is blurred to represent a black background. I also like the detail that your second picture highlights. The inside of the flower really pops against the other colors.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these photographs are excellent. The second one is interesting because you have the bud of another Iris right up in front of the blooming Iris. The first image is really cool because you haven't great contrast between the flower petals and the background. Excellent work on both of these!
ReplyDeleteI love Iris' and these are beautiful, I love how light the are and the closeness shows the delicate nature of these flowers. The second shot is my favorite. I like that the bud of the one flower almost looks as though it could be or was a part of the second. From this angle they line up perfectly, great job.

ReplyDeleteThe first picture is beautiful, as the dark background really makes the colors of the flower pop. Beautiful!
